The Coca-Cola First Generation Scholarships is a program presented by Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities. These scholarships are for candidates or domestic students who want to study in USA.
The program is for graduate programs and undergraduate level programs taught at USA Universities Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (The CoCa-Cola Foundation). It is for undergraduate and graduate students who are attending a two-year or four-year HACU-member institution. It was launched in the year 1986 by a group of 18 universities. Over 500 colleges and universities in the United States, Latin America, Puerto Rico, Spain, and school districts in the United States are associates of this organization. The system was established as a nonprofit organization.
With the assistance of HACU’s Office of Government Relations in Washington, D.C., HACU has well over thirty formal MOU and Partnership Agreements with federal agencies, offices, and business establishments. HACU also offers support and outreach to HSIs by hosting technical support workshops all through the nation on available federal program grants and other resources. The HACU National Internship Program also functions out of the Washington, DC, office and places over 450 student interns yearly with corporations and federal agencies in Washington and field offices all over the country.
It’s Western Regional Office in Sacramento, California, offers support for state level advocacy and program work in the western United States. Additional regional offices are intended for the future.
